Osun Recruits 526 Teachers, Successful Candidates to Collect Appointment Letters Monday

The Osun State Government has recruited 526 teachers for public primary and secondary schools across the state.

The announcement was made in a statement issued by the Commissioner for Information and Public Enlightenment, Kolapo Alimi, who said the names of the first batch of successful applicants had been released.

According to the statement, the successful candidates are expected to begin collecting their letters of appointment from Monday, March 9, 2026.

Applicants were advised to check the list of successful candidates online or at designated government offices.

These include the Osun State Civil Service Commission, the Osun State Ministry of Education, the Osun State Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM), and the Osun State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) headquarters, all located in Osogbo.

The statement also quoted Ademola Adeleke, Governor of Osun State, as congratulating the successful candidates and urging them to view their appointment as an opportunity to contribute to the development of education in the state.

The governor also commended applicants for their patience and cooperation during the recruitment process and reiterated the government’s commitment to improving the education sector in the state.
