The countdown is finally over as BBNaija Season 11 premieres today, Sunday, July 26, with millions of fans across Africa preparing to witness the launch of another edition of the continent’s biggest reality television show. This year’s edition, themed “Everything Is For The Taking,” promises 10 weeks of entertainment, strategy, friendships, rivalries and intense competition as a fresh group of housemates compete for the largest prize ever offered in the show’s history.
Organisers have unveiled a ₦160 million grand prize, consisting of ₦100 million in cash and a brand-new Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV), making it the biggest reward since the reality show debuted. The increased prize raises the stakes for contestants, who will battle through weekly tasks, nominations and evictions in pursuit of the ultimate reward.
In keeping with tradition, the identities of this season’s contestants have been kept under wraps ahead of the opening ceremony. The secrecy has heightened anticipation among fans eager to discover the personalities who will enter Biggie’s House and compete throughout the season.
Popular media personality Ebuka Obi-Uchendu returns as host for another season of the reality show. Apart from anchoring the live launch and eviction shows, Ebuka has become widely recognised for his fashion statements, with viewers eagerly anticipating his launch-night outfit as much as the unveiling of the new housemates.
