Enugu Police Recover Stolen Truck, Arrest Two Suspects

The Enugu State Police Command has recovered a stolen truck following its theft in Nkanu East Local Government Area, police confirmed in a statement issued by the command’s Public Relations Officer (PPRO), DSP Daniel Ndukwe.

According to the police, operatives attached to the State Criminal Investigation Department (CID) located and recovered the vehicle at Mpama Junction, along the Enugu–Markurdi Expressway.

The truck had been reported stolen after armed men ambushed the driver along the road.

DSP Ndukwe said the police also arrested two suspects in connection with the recovery operation, adding that investigations are ongoing to determine the circumstances surrounding the theft and identify all those involved.

The stolen vehicle and the suspects have been taken into police custody as enquiries continue, the statement said.
