The endorsement event drew coronet kings, traditional heads, and market leaders under the auspices of the Baales Forum, alongside traders from key communities, highlighting organised support at the grassroots level within the senatorial district.
At the programme, Chief Adewale Adesina, the Babaloja of Yewa land and Ogun State, spoke on behalf of the market community about their commitment to Ogun West monarchs and traders endorse Tinubu Adeola 2027.
He cited contributions by President Tinubu and Senator Adeola to regional development as motivating factors for their support.
Chief Adesina stated that President Tinubu’s leadership had delivered what he described as tough economic decisions aimed at stabilising national finances.
He also pointed to infrastructure and empowerment initiatives facilitated by Senator Solomon Adeola across the district as reasons the group believed he could build on current state-level progress.
Market leaders also stressed that endorsement alone would not be enough without broad voter participation.
Chief Adesina urged residents to obtain their Permanent Voter Cards, emphasising that active voter participation was essential for translating support into tangible electoral outcomes.
The Iyaloja of Yewaland and Iyaloja-General of Ogun State, Chief Yemisi Abass, reiterated traders’ support under the Ogun West monarchs and traders endorse Tinubu Adeola 2027 platform, explaining the group’s intention to back what they described as continuity of positive efforts by the political figures.
Representatives of the Baales Forum, numbering over 1,000 community heads, confirmed their readiness to mobilise for the elections.

Oba Isaac Adeisa, the Ogiyan of Alari, reading a communiqué on behalf of coronet traditional rulers, said they supported both Tinubu’s re-election and Adeola’s governorship aim.
