Passengers aboard selected United Nigeria Airlines flights received an unexpected reward as a Samsung Galaxy giveaway turned routine travel into a memorable experience. The promotion, conducted through a partnership between the airline and Samsung, saw three lucky passengers walk away with newly released Galaxy smartphones.

The initiative took place on June 1 during Lagos–Abuja and Abuja–Lagos flights. Winners were selected through an onboard lucky dip, creating excitement among passengers who participated in the live activation while travelling between Nigeria’s two busiest commercial and administrative hubs.

The Samsung Galaxy giveaway formed part of the Awesome Row partnership between United Nigeria Airlines and the global technology brand. Beyond the prize presentation, passengers were also given exclusive in-flight access to experience the latest Samsung Galaxy A57 and A37 smartphones before the devices became widely available to consumers.

At the end of the exercise, Hamid Ibrahim, Chidi Chinedu, and Gbenga Bello emerged as winners. The passengers were selected during the onboard engagement, which allowed travelers to interact directly with the new devices while in transit.
